The Dominican Republic has roughly one thousand miles of beaches! With shorelines that border both the Caribbean Sea on one side (the south side) and the Atlantic Ocean to the other sides (east and north sides), the Dominican Republic offers at least a 1000 continuous miles of coastline. Water sports are all around. And if you like culture: the capital Santo Domingo is the eldest city in the New World with numerous monuments and landmarks from the early 16th century. Away from the coast, you'll discover 4 mountain ranges with the highest point being approximately 10,700 feet. The South East region houses the most Northern rainforest in the world. And of course, there are the little islands of Saona and Catalinita, which can be considered as tropical paradises.
